Simply Charming jewellery is made of Britannia silver, one of the most beautiful and lustrous of all metals. Britannia silver will tarnish and requires proper care. Utilizing your Simply Charming cleaning cloth and storage pouch, your Britannia silver will retain its beauty and character for many generations to come.

When needed, use the Simply Charming silver polish cloth provided to carefully remove any tarnish. Some "dip" polishes contain harsh chemicals and should be avoided, nor is electrolytic cleaning (aluminum foil, salt and baking soda recommended. You may use a small brush (like a toothbrush with natural bristles) for wrist and neck chains and detailed pieces. After cleaning, rinse in soapy water, being sure to remove all the polish. Rinse well in warm water, dry thoroughly and buff gently with a soft cloth.

Once cleaned and polished, silver must be kept dry and properly stored. Our Simply Charming pink flannel bags will protect it from abrasion and provide excellent tarnish prevention. When storing chains in your SC pouch, be sure they are absolutely dry. If the climate is humid, place a small packet of demoisturizing crystals (e.g., silica gel) inside the Simply Charming Pouch.

Last but not least, silver likes to be worn. The more you wear it the less care it will require.

Sizing

Simply Charming® displays the size of each piece of jewellery in both mm and inches it also lists the weight of each piece in grams and ounces. Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than actual size due to screen defaults and photography techniques. Other items may be represented at a larger than actual size in order to clearly show details, or smaller than actual size in order to show the entire item. For these reasons it is always best to check both size and weight to ensure you are getting the exactly the piece you're looking for.
